Training for 2010 season has begun

The new look 2010 squad has started training for the upcoming season and are excited about  what they have seen thus far. Coach Lindsay, Scott and Terri have been working very hard with the girls on strengthening the basic skills of the game as well as their overall conditioning. 

Pride Name Lindsay Murrell Head Coach 

EOS Pride are extremely excited to announce that Linday will be the teams new head coach for the 2010/2011 season.  Lindsay (bio) comes to EOS from Rollins College where she is currently a Graduate Assit Coach for the Lady Tars.  Before joining the coaching staff, Lindsay was a two year starter and team captain.  During her career at Rollins she was known as a dynamic dribbler and being crafty with the ball ... great finisher with the ability to play with her back to the goal ...entering her senior season ranked among the program’s career leaders in goals (third - 26), assists (fifth - 15), and points (third - 67).

Tryouts are scheduled for June 2nd & June 4th at the UCF Intramural fields.  Click Here for more details.

2-0 in first two games of Seminole Fall Festival

es The Pride kicked off the first day of group play by dominating two older teams by winning both game with impressive shutout performances.  Lead by a very stingy a Pride defense  and a tremendous offense showing by Carissa who had 1 assist and four goals.

The Pride will play undefeated Westside tomorrow at 8am to decide which team will be advancing the final later in the day.

Pride finish 2nd in finals of CFU Shootout

Despite playing a very solid game the EOS Pride fell to Florida Rush 1-0 with the winning goal coming in the games final minutes.  Despite the loss the Pride are excited about the result and about their performaance thus far.   This trip to the final marks their 2nd time in two tournaments where the reached the finals.

EOS Pride Finish 2nd at Labor Day Challenge

Officially kicked off the 2009/2010 season with an incredible showing at the Melbourne Area Beaches Labor Day Challenge.  The  EOS Pride sent a very loud message to the Central Florida Soccer community.  EOS Pride soccer will be a force this season. 

This Pride team completed the weekend with a record of 2-1-2, ultimately losing in the finals to 17th ranked Creeks Clash 1-0 in PK's.  EOS had an amazing weekend scoring 5 goals while allowing only 2 in 5 games.  Goalie Rebecca kicked off the season with two shutouts by making several acrobatic saves and taking charge of the Pride defense. 

EOS will now prepare for the Divisional playoffs on Saturday 9/12.

Special Message from the girls to their teammate Dagny.  Keep your chin up focus on getting healthy and we can't wait to have you join us on the field!

Knights/Pride Place 1st and 2nd in Indoor Championships

The  Knights defeated CFU411 in the Semi Final game to setup a showdown between EOS Pride and the Knights.  In a game that ultimately was settled with PK's with the Knights defeated the Pride.  Great job Ladies.
