The EOS Pride were formally established in May of 2006. The team which consisted of core group of 9 players from a developmental team that had been training together since the age of 8 declared into the U11 B division of the Greater Central Florida Soccer League.  As a team they compiled a record of 3-7 in the fall.   In the Spring 2007, the team came into it's own and had an amazingly successful season, finishing 10-0 and capturing the Division Championship.

The team went on to win 28 games in a row before losing again.  The team did not lose a regular season game until they moved up an age group and played against girls who were a year older.  Despite playing a year up and with completely new formations and strategies the team compiled a record of 7-2-1 and finished as the runner up in the playoffs.

Developmental Plan

Once formed the team trains year around, with the summer focused towards conditioning and basic skills and the regular season focused on advanced skills and strategies.  The girls are encouraged to work hard as our team motto states:  You Practice Like You Play.  All playing time is earned and not guaranteed.  While a player may start how much they play is determined by how they play once they are in the game and how their teammates play. 

Each season the team attends open tryouts where they have to prove themselves worthy of holding their spot on the team against other players who are trying to make the team.

The team currently has three full time coaches who are responsible for the teams day to day development, but they also employ trainers who share the teams overall philosphy, which is based on ball control.  The ability to control the ball and deliver the ball to teammates in stride are basic principals of most if not all training sessions.

The team also has a staffed Strength and Conditioning coach who responsible for helping each player improve their overall strength and conditioning.
